Gulfstream presents a new generation of business jets: the Gulfstream G500 and G600.
The two new models have not only improved in terms of comfort and speed, but they also offer a new touchscreen cockpit display and industry-first active control sidesticks. Both models can carry up to 19 passengers with a maximum speed of up to Mach 0.90 (approx. 1.102 km/h).
The G500’s first flight is scheduled for 2015. Gulfstream projects it will begin deliveries in 2018. The G600 flight-test should begin 12 to 18 months after the G500’s,with deliveries expected to begin in 2019.
There is no report on the cost of the both jets, but you need about $65 Million dollars if you want to fly the previous model, the Gulfstream G650.
